Str8up is one of Jacksonville's hottest and most sought after dance bands. We have provided quality entertainment for numerous events and we would be thrilled to include you and your group to our growing list of satisfied clients. Str8up is a 5 member band that features outstanding vocals and a very tight rhythm section. We cover the classic sounds of Motown, Disco, R&b and many of today’s top dance hits.

Str8up was booked to play our wedding on 9/30 at the Epping Forest Yacht club, but plans changed quickly when Hurricane Ian decided to visit Jacksonville on the same day. The venue canceled on us two days before the wedding date so we decided to have it at my bride's house and asked Str8up if they would still play. And they stepped up to the plate and hit a home run. They played for the service and the reception and did a fantastic job. They turned an emergency situation into a memorable event. Thanks for everything Str8up!

I have been following this band for two years, and I can say they are really good.
This band plays a variety of music, and every where they go the crowed loves them.
They have two excellent singers that can sing anything, and the energy that they display is outstanding. The musicians are top notch and they are dedicated to the music.

We chose STR8up for our wedding band and we couldn’t have been happier! Their voices and instrumentals sound amazing. They learn 3 songs, in addition to the numerous songs they already play, to make your day even more special. Str8up kept the party going and had everyone on the dance floor. Str8up is Jacksonville’s top dance band. We have been performing together since 2006. Our current lineup includes Eric Witherspoon on lead vocals on"from "The VOICE", Sharris Mcduffy on lead vocals Headliner Cruiseships, Richard Boyce on bass guitar and vocals, Julius Walker on lead guitar and vocals, and Excel Lewis on drums.
