Originally Veteran’s Day was called Armistice Day because the holiday was the commemoration of the day we signed an armistice to end the fighting of World War I. On this special holiday we take the time to remember and celebrate those who served our great country. We honor the brave men and women who served our country in order to keep peace and freedom in the U.S.A. Since Veteran’s Day is a patriotic holiday, adorn your party in red, white, and blue. You can even use your Fourth of July decorations.
